I was born and raised in Colorado, growing up watching my dad as he would sculpt. As a child I would spend time playing with clay and trying to create pieces such as I saw my dad sculpting and bringing to life. I watched, studied and observed him both in the studio and at the foundry.
While currently representing the work of my dad, Jim Budish, at shows and on my website, I have over the years begun to develop my own technique and style which I have begun presenting, in addition to representing the work of my dad. I sculpt in clay and cast my work in bronze via the lost wax method, trying to capture the nuance in the personality of each of the creatures I sculpt.
